Visits to Kozloduy NPP are organised for Bulgarian and foreign citizens and journalists. Direct observations of the nuclear power plant facilities are also offered including the Main Control Rooms and Turbine Halls of Units 5 and 6.

How a visit to Kozloduy NPP is organised?
You have to send an e-mail with your request, FAO the Executive Director of Kozloduy NPP PLC, to the following address: info@npp.bg, info@old.kznpp.org, or Fax: +359 973 8 05 91, +359 973 7 60 19, two weeks before the planned date which should be a workday. Details on the visit objective, number of visitors, and contact details are to be specified in the letter.
A special programme is prepared for each visit depending on the visitors' interests.

Which of the Kozloduy NPP facilities are available to the public?
• Information Centre where one can obtain information as printed materials, may watch films, see models of equipment, etc.
• Simulator Training Facility equipped with a full-scope simulator for the 1000 MW Units
• Switchyard
• Radioecological Monitoring Department
• Main Control Rooms and Turbine Halls of Units 5 and 6

Is there any limitation on the number of visitors?
The total number of visitors to the Main Control Rooms of Units 5 and 6 for a single visit shall not exceed 20 persons. For the rest of the facilities the limitation is 50 persons.

When Kozloduy NPP can be visited?
The Information Centre is open for visitors every workday from 8 am to 4 pm. Visits to plant facilities are organised in workdays on a year-round basis with closing time at 3.30 pm.
Visits to the Main Control Rooms and Turbine Halls of Units 5 and 6 are not organised during annual outages (advanced information is available at Tel.: +359 973 7 21 00 and +359 973 7 27 68).

Open Door Day
Anyone who is interested in visiting Kozloduy NPP may use the opportunity on Open Door Days organised biannually.
The date of the Open Door Day (usually Saturday) is announced in advance in the mass media and on the website of the plant in Section Current Information, News.
