This hotel Complex was built in 1983, near the Danube. Istar used to be the ancient Greek name of the river and is from where the Hotel derives its name.  The Hotel “Istar” is located in a central, yet quiet and peaceful part of Kozloduy.  The Istar is a three-star city-type hotel, with 26 apartments, 20 double and 6 single rooms, a restaurant with a summer garden, a lobby-bar with a summertime terrace, a spacious reception area where guests can relax, and a souvenir shop.
In 2001 the hotel was refreshed and revitalised introducing into each room facilities such as TV, phone, mini bar, air conditioner, shower cubicles (double or single rooms).  For guests that do not want a shower, we have rooms with a bath - apartments only.  A modern software controlled entry system provides peace of mind and ease of access to the rooms for all our guests.  The following services are free to all our guests: wireless internet access, car park facilities, copier and fax services, and personal safe box.
